MTECH to Celebrate Grand Opening of New Payson Campus on September 19, 2025

PAYSON, UT— Mountainland Technical College (MTECH) is expanding its impact in southern Utah County with the official opening of its brand-new Payson Campus on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Students, state leaders, Payson City officials, and MTECH faculty and staff are invited to gather for a special ribbon-cutting ceremony marking this major milestone forMtech Ribbon Cutting Flyer education, workforce development, and regional economic growth.

Located at 993 South 1950 West in Payson, the new 90,000-square-foot campus is dedicated entirely to high-quality career and technical education. Designed to serve more than 1,000 students per year, the facility will support the hands-on training needed for Utah’s fastest-growing, in-demand industries. Programs at the campus will prepare students for immediate entry into the workforce or to continue their academic pathway through partnerships with Utah Valley University and Snow College.

The Payson region is projected to experience significant job growth through 2032, and MTECH’s new campus will play a pivotal role in preparing residents for these expanding opportunities. Key sectors include:

  • Food Services: 35.3%

  • Transportation: 30.6%
