There are a variety of ways to get started in a health career with Intermountain Healthcare (IHC) in Utah! Not only can you begin health career exploration with IHC, but you can continue your education through the IHC educational assistance program. Intermountain offers tuition reimbursement to current employees (working at least 20 hours per week) who enroll in health career courses and work toward certification or a degree. 100% tuition reimbursement, up to $5,250 per calendar year with a one-year work agreement is currently available. (Textbooks, entrance examinations, admission fees, late fees, and parking will not be reimbursed.)
How do I participate in the tuition reimbursement program?
Step 1: Make sure you are benefits eligible and employed at IHC at least 20 hours a week when your semester begins and throughout the duration of the class, including the final test.
Step 2: Within 60 days after successful completion of the classes, submit:
- An itemized statement (must include the following):
Tuition and fees for that term
Amount paid by scholarship/grants
Amount and form of payment (loan, credit card etc.)
Your name and school
- Final grades or all pages of the unofficial transcript
- A signed work agreement form
