Utah State University is opening its doors to the next generation of teachers with the Future Educators Summit coming this spring. Scheduled for April 14, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM on the USU Logan Campus, this event invites students to explore what a future in education could mean for them. It offers a chance to step onto a university campus, connect with faculty, and engage in hands-on experiences that highlight the impact and importance of teaching.
CTE educators are encouraged to share this opportunity with students in Agriculture, Business, Family and Consumer Sciences, Technology and Engineering, and, for the first time, Earth Science. The summit is ideal for students who display leadership, enjoy helping others, or have an interest in mentoring and guiding their peers. Whether they’ve considered teaching before or are simply exploring options, the event provides meaningful insight into the profession.
Participants will spend the day learning about pathways into education, interacting with university partners, and discovering how their strengths and interests align with careers in teaching. More details and registration information will be available soon, but for now, educators can begin identifying students who would benefit from this inspiring experience. Utah State University looks forward to welcoming future educators and helping them envision the possibilities ahead.
