Utah CTE Pathway Prioritizer

Explore pathway overlap, concurrent enrollment, graduation-credit opportunities, and master-schedule decisions.

CTE Cluster → Pathway → Course Lookup

Select a current USBE career cluster and pathway to review eligible explorer, concentrator and completer courses. Supporting courses are excluded. Funding and CE are based on the 2026–2027 planning data.

Each $ represents one potential college credit from the highest-credit single CE alignment offered by any listed institution. Unknown credit values count as 3 for this indicator. CE alternatives are not combined; $ symbols are not dollar amounts or guaranteed revenue.

Upload master schedules from multiple schools or providers

Upload one or more PDF, CSV, or Excel master schedules from the home school, another LEA school, a technical center, or an online provider. The analyzer combines all available courses into one student-access planning scenario. Courses appearing in multiple schedules count only once toward pathway completion. For the most accurate pathway matching, upload schedules that include the 11-digit USBE course codes (course names are also supported). Files are processed locally in your browser.

Concurrent enrollment (CE) is a potential revenue value-add for eligible courses. No dollar amount is assumed or calculated.

No schedule loaded. Select one or more files.

Completion planning: a year-long course counts as two course-equivalent units; at least one Concentrator and one Completer are required. A half-credit CTE internship (one Completer unit) is assumed available for every pathway, whether or not it appears on the uploaded schedule.

School-specific pathway opportunities

This tab uses only courses matched from the uploaded master schedules as the school’s current offerings. Recommendations show missing courses to add, prioritizing the fewest additional courses needed for pathway completion, then concurrent enrollment (CE) opportunities. Upload and analyze schedules on the Master Schedule Analyzer tab first. The largest schedule is treated as the primary high school.

No master schedules uploaded.

Highest-value additional courses to offer

Only courses absent from the uploaded schedules appear here. Priorities reflect speed to completion, CE availability, crossover and the primary high school’s existing courses.

Closest new completer pathways

Ranked from courses actually available across uploaded schedules, showing how many new course offerings would make each additional pathway completable. The assumed internship contributes one Completer unit.

How the model works

The site uses the uploaded 32 USBE 2026–27 pathway charts, the USBE 2026–27 Excel course master list, and the uploaded active 2026 CE master list. It retains original course classifications, excludes supporting courses from pathway progress, and marks unresolved core-code matches. The pathway chart requirement is an explorer plus concentrator and at least 3.0 qualifying pathway credits; the displayed four-course candidate is not an official completion certification.

Course value: verified CE equivalents, shared-pathway count, graduation-credit screening, and level-specific completion utility. Credits from multiple college equivalents are shown individually and should not be summed unless USHE confirms they can all be awarded.

Schedule analysis: matches uploaded course codes first, then normalized names; checks explorer/concentrator access, identifies absent courses with overlap and CE opportunities, and flags low-demand or duplicate offerings for human review. It does not model teacher certifications, prerequisites, sections, bell schedules, student requests, WPU/ADM, or actual CE completions.

Illustrative funding: CE is flagged as a potential revenue value add, without assigning a dollar amount. No enrollment or earned credits are inferred from a scheduled section. Financial return cannot be calculated reliably from master-schedule data alone.
