The Mountainland Region is excited to announce its first-ever, upcoming Career and Technical Education (CTE) event called the Diesel Tech Tour. On April 13th, 2023, students from the region will be visiting three local diesel shops to explore this career pathway and learn more about the opportunities in the field. The tour is designed to give students a hands-on experience of the diesel industry, allowing them to see the work that goes into keeping diesel engines running smoothly.
The Diesel Tech Tour will take place from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm and will be an excellent opportunity for students who have an interest in an automotive or diesel pathway. During the tour, students will be able to observe and interact with diesel technicians, who will be on hand to answer questions and provide information about their work. Additionally, students will be able to learn about various diesel tech roles, internships, apprenticeships, and other opportunities in the diesel industry.
The tour will also include lunch, providing a great opportunity for students to network and connect with industry professionals. The lunch will be a great opportunity for students to ask questions and learn more about the diesel industry and what it has to offer.
This is a unique opportunity for students to gain exposure to the diesel industry and to learn more about what it takes to succeed in this field. The Diesel Tech Tour is open to all students who have an interest in an automotive or diesel pathway, and we encourage all interested students to sign up and participate. To sign up or learn more about the event, students should contact their CTE specialist or counselor.
The Mountainland Region is thrilled to partner with WW Clyde, Sunroc, and Geneva Rock for this Diesel Tech Tour. We hope that this event will inspire students to pursue careers in this field and help them to understand the many available opportunities. Don't miss this exciting opportunity to explore the diesel industry and see what it has to offer!
