Girls with dreams of soaring into the world of aviation are invited to an exciting, hands-on celebration as the 11th Annual Girls in Aviation Day comes to Salt Lake City on September 20, 2025, from 9 AM to 1 PM. Hosted by Delta Air Lines at their Salt Lake City hangar, this free event welcomes girls of all ages to explore the dynamic careers and opportunities available in aviation.
This year’s theme, “Where Girls’ Dreams Take Flight,” captures the heart of the event—helping young women see themselves as future pilots, engineers, air traffic controllers, aircraft technicians, and aviation leaders. Attendees will enjoy a full day of interactive activities, aircraft displays, aviation-themed challenges, and inspiring conversations with women working in the industry today. Participants will also receive fun swag and have the chance to try out exciting STEM activities designed to spark curiosity and confidence.
Held at 3823 W. 1200 N., Salt Lake City, UT 84116, the event is easy to access—just take Exit 2100 N. off I-215 and head west. Families are encouraged to pre-register using the QR code on the flyer and follow the Great Salt Lake Women in Aviation chapter for updates.
Whether a girl is already fascinated by aviation or simply curious about what the future could hold, Girls in Aviation Day creates a welcoming space to dream big, explore new interests, and discover that the sky is only the beginning.
