Students who focus on a Career Pathway acquire the skills necessary for entry into well-paid careers with high potential for rapid financial growth, increased levels of responsibility, and a high degree of personal satisfaction.” - USBE

Alpine School District's CTE Director, Michelle Price is thrilled to sponsor this annual career night event as "CTE classes provide students with the training and tools that will help them succeed in a career right after high school or move on to post-secondary education. In Utah, there are 35 pathways in 13 career clusters. CTE Pathways help lead students to college and career readiness. Career and Technical education is hands-on learning that delivers real-world skills for students.  CTE gives learners technical skills and experiences at middle schools, junior highs, and high schools across Utah. Students who focus on CTE Pathways can earn certificates and acquire essential training to prepare them for future careers, as well as two-year and four-year college degrees.

Hosted at the beautiful MTECH Lehi Campus this year, MTECH President Cay Christensen is delighted to display such a “fantastic showcase of the amazing career and technical education available for students in the Utah, Summit, and Wasatch county region. Our community ought to know that our K-16 alliance offers amazing educational opportunities across high-wage, high-demand program areas.”
